Free Comic Book Day + Make Your Own Havaianas ❤

On the first Saturday of May, my sister, boyfriend and I attended two events to celebrate SUMMER! 

Essentially, if you are a teenager spending your summer vacation (like my sister), you are in need of a good book to read and a flip-flop to pair with your summer outfit. So I decided to tag my sister along to let her attend these events as well. 

First is the Free Comic Book Day which was held at Fully Booked, Bonifacio Global City. 

We arrived early at the venue, but a lot of people were already in line under the heat of the sun waiting to get their free comics. 

But for the LOVE of COMICS, we survived the summer heat and the 2-hour waiting line. It felt great. Just look into our happy faces when we already got our free comics! Hihi. :)

  We've got to choose 3 comics each plus the Ang Pilipino Komiks especially made by Fully Booked for this year's event. I chose Archie (my favorite), Spongebob and Superman comics! ❤

Thanks a lot, Fully Booked for making this event possible. It was tiring, yet it was fun. 

Hope to get free comics again next year! :)

  After the free comics, we strolled around BGC and spotted Iron Man and another superhero.
I dunno his name! :P

Then, we ate lunch at Banapple, one of our favorite diners. We really missed their yummy dishes and our hungry stomachs loved their food, as always.

Last is the Make Your Own Havaianas event at the Rockwell Tent, where we got to take home our favorite flip-flops with customized sole, strap and pins.

We also joined You + Havaianas where we designed our own sole for a chance to be included in the next Havaianas collection. :)

As a token for joining and making our own sole "DESIGNS", we've got an additional Limited Edition pin which we added to our customized Havaianas. :) Cool, right? Hihi! 

No doubt, we really enjoyed customizing our Havaianas flip-flops. :)
